Thanks guys, where would that ECU fuse be. I'll do a search on adjusting the throttle cable.

Just unhook the battery.

Unhooking the battery is pretty quick, but you'll loose your radio presets and may also need to enter the code.

The fuse trick will keep the radio ok.

Look under the drivers side dash. You will see the fuse box closer to the door. Look at the bank of fuses more inboard. The top fuse should be empty on a US car (Canada daytime lights have fuse in top spot). Pull the fuse in the 3rd slot down (2nd filled fuse). Only takes 30 seconds, then replace.

Awesome tip negcamber. Will this make the car run funny for the first few hours? What can I expect after pulling the fuse to reset the computer. SS200GT has done this to their car, did you feel a real difference? Anyone else care to ping in with their experiences with resetting the ECU? Thanks

Try to make an objective comparison, like a 20-70 in-gear run, or running side by side before you change anything. Maybe it's just that with the hardtop the car isn't as loud.

Performance can be _very_ subjective, I know that my Super Seven felt faster when the exhaust wadding burnt out

Here's pictures that show the right fuse, but for a different reason:

I do have a have a hard top on the car, but I can't imagine the extra 60 or 75lbs making that much difference in the way the car feels.
What HT weighs 60 to 75 pounds?

BTW- The OEM HT weighs less than 45.
