My S feels sluggish
The valves would have to be really really really out of adustment to cause performance issues. Generally they just give you a ticking or tapping noise as the only symptom.
So, did resetting the ECU help?

Hey Guys,
I had a chance to drive my two of my friends' S2000s. One is a MY01 with 168k+ on the odometer, the other is a MY03 with 70k on the odo. I have a MY02 with 38k and it feels slower or less free revving than the other two. Some notes about my car... I do have a have a hard top on the car,

Dont forget to tighten the throttle cable. If it has too much granny slack, it will feel sluggish...mine did until some local members showed me how to tighten it on a detail day. I believe you lossen a nut on the thrttle cable wich alows you to move it back tighter. Chek to see if there is a good amount of tension or if it is easy to push in with your finger first. There has to be a post on here somewhere...
Hey Guys,
Reset my ECU yesterday and it made a pretty big difference. Can definitely feel the car pull harder in the 3500 to 5000 rpm range, and Vtec kicks in harder as well. I guess the computer was either stuck in granny mode or was perhaps used to getting low octane fuel. Thanks for everyone's suggestions and tips!
