Default my S2000 is unstoppable in snow!

well, not quite, but it's quite good!

we got couple inches of snow overnight, and 4 more in the morning.. last night i received SCC cable chains and put them on (not quite as easy as scc claims but easier than traditional chains), and plus i put 2 50lb rice bags in the trunk (they fit perfectly in the toolbox foam space).

the combination works wonders on snow, especially braking and initial acceleration traction. steering is tricky as expected (chains on drive wheels only).

there was a 20 car pileup (and 300 cars backed up) on a uphill climb on the way to work.. i was like "damn i'm f##ked!!!!" but to my astonishment my little 2dr roadster got up with zero problems!!!

looks on ppl in stuck sedans & SUVs as my little S passed em by: PRICELESS!!

Very nice!!!

Its tempting to get some snows for mine for winter time fun, but I have a beater so I just let the S sleep in a heated garage .

I bet some of the looks on people's faces as you drove by were mind-boggling!

That's awesome...was the ride pretty rough with the chains on? I've never driven or riden in a car while it had chains on.

You just needed your top down and one of those sock hats for the final touch. That would have been cool to see.

That's great!

What tires are you running underneath the chains?

SCC-Cable Chains come in several different models. Which type do you have?

Thanks,

but i can't wait for a few inches to do some snow crusing. BEST VIDEO GAME IN THE WORLD AND.... NO QUATERS, all the fun of drifting and power sliding with none of the ramifications, well keep away from the curbs. i haven't had a rear driver since my thuderbird SC.

DRIVE THE REAR WHEELS AS GOD INTENDED!

Take the bags out, you'll do better.

I'm curious about the SCC Chains as well. Where do you get them?
