you need to take it in to the dealership, have them work you up an invoice for the parts and labor, and turn that into your ins. co.

Sorry to hear. That is not easily fixable. Can hand stitch it together for now... But as mentioned, get with insurance. Good luck

No. Get dealership prices, dont cash that check.

Top: costs ??at dealership, with HTG, possibly around1K, not counting installation.

Locally, installation + softtop costs more than what your insurance gave you.

Center console, at least 300+ USED.

Radio door, 50 USED.

so if I were you, I'd talk to the nearest dealership, get the price quote to your insureance company and tell em stop fkin around. Insurance co's first quote will ALWAYS be lower than whats "true"

Not really clear on your insurance claim update. So your insurance guy cut you a check for $1839.00 or $1839.00 minus $500.00?? It's obvious you have a $500.00 deductible ,which means no matter what ,you're going to to get shorted at least $500.00 on estimated damages.

I think the insurance is playing game with me, the adjuster offered me a used top online for $400+10hrs of labor which came out to be $846. While Honda quoted me $2700 for a new top. Do you guys think my insurance will match that price? Is there any tips to deal with the adjuster? Thanks

Used $400 top online is probably the crappiest AP1 top he could find, i've never even seen a top for that cheap, so if you want your glass rear window back and not the plastic rear window you had better tell them what is up!

That guys is surely busting your balls, 400$ for some old softtop? he's an idiot.

Go to the dealer and get a quote, it will be at least 2500 after labor if not more,

stick it to the insurance guy, if he plays b.s. games with you get his supervisor
