Buy a new top from Tops On Line etc. and do it yourself. With the instructions you can find right here at S2KI, you should be able to accomplish this yourself within a day or two. IIRC, $6-700 for new with glass which should leave plenty for your new console and probably pay you back for the deductable.

 

So my insurance agreed to pay whatever the dealership qouted me, but they require the dealership to call them. Do you guys think i can pocket that money and buy myself a hard top, since I am so scare that someone will slash my top again.

Okay, so I called the adjuster and he told me to bring my car to the dealership or wherever I want and have them deal with him and he will pay me the difference. When a service adviser at Honda called the adjuster, he refused to let Honda replace my top. He said my car is an used car therefore he can only offer me a used top(one of his vendor) but not a new top, when I don't even know the condition of the top. He also said my car is registered as used so whatever happen to it they just gonna replace it with used parts. I called my agent and he told me the same thing too. WTF???? So am I stuck with that used top now?

 

WTF kind of insurance do you have dude? they are screwing you!

That's it , no more ALLSTATE for me, I've been with them for over 8 years and they're treating me like crap

 

dude that sucks, i had someone slash my top. i have $500 deductible just like you. i told them that i wanted the dealership to fix it and after the $500 was takin out i ended up gettin like $1700, i used that money and bought a HT and got it painted and installed.
