My dealer called with the # it is
JHMAP114X1T001761
One curious thing. I looked back at some other 2001 VINS and didn't notice a character in the 9th position. Seemed like it was always a number. Anyone know what's up with the X in my VIN?
Looks like I've got another 4-6 weeks!

http://www.s2000fans.com/faqs/faq_vin.php was from an explaination of the VIN on the boards - however, the X, not sure what it means. It should be a "1" for 2001, not an X, but then again, I could be wrong.
