Default MY02 stock gearshift knob

I bought my car used and have always thought it was completely stock. While shopping at Handa, I noticed 2 shift knobs, a "stock" one and a titanium knob. I have always thought my titanium shift knob was original equipment, but possibly not? What was the 02 stock knob?

Are you sure it's Ti? It could be Al.

In '02 Honda switched the all metal one to a leather wrapped one.

Doesn't Honda sell the Titanium shift knob as an accessory? So technically it would be stock.

I am fairly certain that Honda has always offered a spun aluminum knob (like the one on pre MY '02) as well as the titanium version as dealer installed options from 2002 on up.

The titanium and aluminum versions both look very similar.

IndianRiverS2k, if you decide to replace the metal knob for the original '02 knob you might be able to find a used one on here in the marketplace, or on eBay pretty easy. That same knob is also used on the Acura TSX 6-speed, and I think it also comes on the 6-speed Accord. The thread patterns should be the same.

on the OEM trunk spoiler and front lip! I installed my trunk spoiler myself, and it looks great. I think I am gonna pull the trigger on the front lip in a week or so (little xmas gift to myself).

Thats awesome. Yes, I am thinking of going to self install route too. Glad to hear the spoiler is looking good. Makes me want to do it even more.
