I sat down inside a 2004 Sebring this past Friday and I have to say I love the whole center console of this car.
It looks like the enitre housing just sits on top of the standard hump that goes back to the glove box.
The price fom honda is not that bad for all the components that make up the entire MY04 console (about 650.00) and I was wondering if anyone has done this or thought about it, and have some insight into how difficult it is to replace a MY01 console with the MY04???
I would probably want to replace the radio door as well to complete the look if I do this and I have heard that is no big deal.
There was another thread about this earlier this week....search is your friend and can help you.
Here's a freebie
#1- yes it can be done. I was the 1st to do it...test fitted for hardtopguy and even made a DIY thread/
#2- 650 is way to expensive. PM hardtopguy or go to hardtopguy.com
#3- the radio can be done as well, again HTG is cheap and, again, there's a DIY thread. Takes maybe 10min to do.
thanks I have not been having too much luck in here with the search function for other searches so I decided to bite the bullet and go for it. I appreciate the heads up and I will check the sites you mentioned ASAP!!
$465 for the whole console from hardtopguy.com this includes the new hazard button which is the only part that you will need to swap. The '04 console also includes a real leather shift boot!
