Add up all the greenhouse gases that humans have created. Compare it to those created by one "natural" valcano. You'll quickly see we are only a bunch of friggin gnats. I find those who promote the theory of global warming are either a glass-is-half-full doomsayer or a self-imporant egomaniac that somehow believe they are or should be in charge of the universe. Get over yourself already!

Oh, I forgot the potheads who believe if you remove the "evil unnatural humans" from the earth and everything would be perfect.

Science can't tell me what the temperature is going to be today or tomorrow. How do you expect me to beLIEve their fortune telling of the future.

Local weather forecast last week:
Todays High: 55
Todays Low: 38
Current conditions: 35

Global warming = AKA; summer. I hope global warming gets here soon. I'm cold and could use a tan.

So far we're gnats and fleas. I'm seeing a trend here...and starting to itch...

Didn't you guys see South Park this week?

The 'Earth' is just one giant reality TV show put on by aliens. 17 species of 'humans' from different planets thrown together. Bad news is we're being cancelled!

Not to get back on the subject, but...

When I start my S, there is something that starts up and then after a couple of seconds shuts down. Sounds like a fan or something. I thought I read somewhere that the engine heats up the exhaust.

Anyone heard this or am I wearing a celophane bathing suit (everyone can clearly see you're nuts)?

Somehow, people have this problem finding middle ground. Global warming? Based on questionable data over 100 year period - a geological nanosecond? Maybe. Good debate. Should we reduce fossil fuel use and emissions? Is there really any question? In other words, waste is a bad thing whether you believe the global warming proponents or not. Smog is a real and obvious local effect of burning fuels. Reducing emissions again makes sense.

But then, like the T-Shirt I saw says: Minnesotans FOR global warming!

As one poster mentioned above, most environmental wackos ignore natural emissions (e.g. volcanos) in their arguments. With our crappy gas mileage we shouldn't have too many tree huggers among us, except the delusional few who think that since our car's emissions are low we're 'green.'

I like to think of myself as a "reasonable" tree hugger
