The Bush administration has knocked them all down .

Either that or one of my Fraternity brothers that I'll affectionately call the Grumpasaurus for purposes of this board. That kid wasn't right and I'm certain there's a hole in the ozone layer over Malibu after four years of him.

sorry again for hijacking the thread.

Yikes! And I thought my comment about global warming would just be a brief aside in a thread about warming engines...

Some interesting comments, from both sides of the fence. You know where I stand. Even if I'm wrong, and my friend who has a doctorate in Geochemistry who has concluded (through extensive research) that global warming (due to excess fossil fuel emissions) is real is wrong, we can't afford to sit back and do nothing. We have to address it now because if the damage we've done already is significant, and there's no way to know yet, we have to start yesterday in controlling future emissions. Honda realizes this, I can't believe how many of you are Honda devotees, yet thumb your noses at one of the guiding principles Honda advocates for its vehicles, namely "green" technology.

The rest of the civilized world has reached the conclusion that we need to act now on the global warming issue. Some accuse me of playing partisan politics by blaming the current administration for a lousy attitude about this, but it was this administration that backed out of the Kyoto Protocols, giving the rest of the world yet another reason to hate America. End of rant. God save us all.

Just my two cents, but I've grown increasingly cautious about much that is coming out of Canada lately.
