I basically want to know what a full bolt on s2k(no boost) can do in the quarter mile.. Or even what is the fastest NA s2k time? I know the s2k isnt a straight line car but I like to road race and drag race, and my curiosity has got the best of me! -Eric

Just basic bolt ons.. I have alot of research to do as my s2k will be my only piston car :~

 

I'm not N/A, but i would assume with full BPU and a tune, you should hit low 13's....this would be at sea level.

As far as full bolt ons go, what does that consist of? The rx7 community has a very defined idea of what a full bolt on rx7 is.

 

I'm positive its been done. But the real question is at what cost?? In most cases it will surely cost you more than FI.

 

getting into the 12's will cost you. fastest/cheapest way is F/I.


look around in the for sale section...you'll find used S/C going for about 3k.

 

You guys say going FI will be the best way to go, but dont you need basic bolt ons before going FI..? upgrading the turbo in my car you need supporting mods.. can you go FI on a stock s2k?

 

Yes, all i had when i bolted my S/C on was a clutch and test pipe and got 310whp/206tq on a dynojet.
