Those are pretty impressive numbers for a F20c. :thumb: What do stock F20c's dyno on a mustang?
berk tp
spoon exhaust
kn filter
vafc tuned
since then i have added a custome 70mm header back exhaust system. i am shooting for 230 on my next dyno trip.
just a simple question requiring a simple answer...would a comptech SC pass smog? If so, if I added other things such as mugen headers and exhaust, which also pass smog, would it all add up and not pass smog? I'm not much of a grease monkey, so taking it out every year would be a REAL PITA for me.

Mild N/A for me, cause I can't afford to go FI. FI can provide a lot more power, but it also requires more $$. Mind you a killer N/A setup could cost just as much.
I have looked into doing an N/A build, but for the money, it just isn't that practical. If it were cheaper, like it is for *sadly civics, integras, etc. then yes. But on an S2000 you need a good exhaust system - $1000+ you need a good header $1000, you'll probably want ITB's ~ $3000...build you head $2500, and probably bore and stroke $4000-5000, then you'll also need an engine management system $1500, you probably be getting other misc stuff as well: clutch, flywheel, gauges, lightweight stuff, cooling mods, tuning, etc $2000+
Thats $15,000 for a good strong build that MIGHT get you to 300whp N/A if your lucky. This would be an AMAZING car, the response, the sound, the plain ability of it to perform.
But then you relize...you can have a car with more power (though not as useable) for 1/3 the cost. A car that is CARB legal, and a car that is very fun to drive and is also very reliable. I agree with Poindexter to a certain point. If you want a faster car, buy a faster car. This is as far as things which really effect the reliablity IMO. If you do a simple CTSC w/AC and another mod here and there and have 300whp (though peak) you will have something faster and still reliable for a relatively speaking cheap price

errr... ok, but when I am making 170hp+ per liter AT THE WHEELS with the same motor, why not? I agree that honda did a great job with this motor so why not take advantage of a NA car that can take boost in stock form. Its a win-win situation the way I look at it. BTW, if you ever drove a turbo s2k you would probably change your mind very quickly.... they are lots of fun.

After getting a ride in your car, FI is the ONLY way to go
