I didn't buy into it until I watched two S2000 friends barely have their cars running over the past year because something always broke when they drove. Yes, they took their super chargers to higher levels. Now they're going totally different routes, but by the time they're done they could have paid cash for a much faster car, and never had to worry about the "fun" car being down.
I've adopted that phrase after the horrible experience w/ my last Vortech S/C'd S2000. Much happier to not ever have my car in the shop sucking up all my free cash and patience.

If/when I feel the need for more power, I'll buy something faster off the showroom floor.
