I'm looking to get a 2001 or 2002 used S2k with under 20k miles on it. I found a few however I'm not sure what the differences are... if any? I've heard things like the clutch and some other components have been updated, so does anyone know for sure?

2000 and 2001 are essentially the same. 2002+ got a glass rear window, tweeters, a different shift knob, and a couple of other minor things.
if you would buy a 2001, then look at 2000's also. The clutch buzz is not a functional issue....the sound is just a little annoying. If its under warr. then it will be fixed for free.

 

yea, i ran a search and found some interesting changes... mostly cosmetic. However, I'll probably get an 2002 just because they seem to get better as they get older.
