Default Need Help

ok my friend was installing my Seibon CF trunk no key hole. he was test fitting it he unplugged the the cord to pop the trunk open off of the OEM trunk. well he closed my seibon trunk and latched. so is there anyway to get into the trunk?

There is a channel between the trunk and cabin behind the seat panels. It aint big. Not sure how to do it but you may be able to have just enough room to use some kind of small light and long hanger device to get to the latch. Actually there are panels that cover the spare and the one next to it. Wow, sounds like a real PITA. Sorry dude.

you can remove the plastic panel that the sotftop rests on when it's in the down position and this will allow you some access to the trunk, I dont know if it will give you enough access to where you can unlatch it though. Good luck, hope it works out for you.

Wait which cord did he take off? The one to release it from inside the car? Or the emergency one inside the trunk?

Some other guy had this happen about 6 months ago or so.

Same thing, he unhooked the release and then someone closed the trunk.

I recall he did get in, but it was a major PITA.

n/m i got in it

we took of the panels behind the headrests to get in the trunk and climbed half way in there and plugged it back in what a PITA!
