aight guys, i am a bmw fanatic.
i had 00 bmw 323ci then 01 330ci and later 02 330ci. Finally due to loss of job last year I had to either sell my 02 330ci or 02 s2000. Since the 330ci was paid off and I could lose without taking a huge loss, i sold the 02 330ci. I have been quiet happy with my 02 s2k spa yellow. tons of attention from elementry school bus kids, young girls in their early 20s, and not to leave out even ladies in their late 40s have asked me to pull my window down and asked for a ride. Interesting events have taken place in my s2k in the short 9 month of ownership. I have modded the car with wheels, springs, exhaust, intake, some cosmetic stuff (cf trims), x-brace etc. Even have two sponsers for my car. One by x-pel where they are dishing out 1k worth of kit for free and another by a guy who is making a video of fast cars. Anyway, lately i have been craving for m3 in white with red interior. Of course there is a list of mods to come with that too. I don't know why but the urge is coming over so strong. Especially after seeing this car:

I Was planning on saving and getting a nice ride like next year or something. Now, i need help to over come my urge and keep the s2k. Please help. I kid you not, i am craving like smokers crave cigarettes after giving up on day 1.

help help help please...
please help me reason not to do this... thanks a lot..

LIL Raja

Hmm...Don't overcome the urge for the M3. Keep the S2000 and get the M for a second car! Find a way.

e46fanatics.com is a good site.

I'm in the same boat, but I'm hoping to keep both. Keep the S for nice days. Use the M for all other outtings. My problem now is whether or not to get SMG. $2400 for probably the most advanced auto in the world seems like a decent tradeoff, especially when I need a car that the wife can drive. But is this keeping with the roots of the M? Unfortunately, the dealer doesn't have an M for a test drive, so I can't compare the two.

Onto your question. The last thing I'd do is get a cab M3. The ragtop weighs like 350+lb more than the coupe. That plus there is a chick-ness to drop top bimmers(I do not mean any offense). Save the $6000 for the rag top and put the money into rims and coilovers or paying off your existing S.

Lil Raj,

Dont do it!! If you need the extra seats then do it.......otherwize you will be kicking yourself in the head every +70 degree weather. Throw on a vortech.....it will make your car faster than the M3!!

m3 gets a big from me, i've driven both but the s2k is more fun to drive IMO. if you like torque, go with the m3.

If was stock to stock I'd take the M3. Your car right now, with all the money spent on it looks too awesome to sell.

go for the M3, you should always get the best you want and you can afford. S2000 is just a car after all...

Frankly, if you want an M3, go get one. The S2000 is obviously not everything you need in a car right now, if you're craving another car so badly.

There are those that simply own an S2000. Then, there are others that have a passion for owning an S2000.
