coquinn i agree i thought that was the case but the finance manager told me if it had under 90k miles and they wanted to certify it and it qualified they could, and you got a couple of choice on options i went with the 4 month comprehensive warranty same as when it is new for up to 120k miles but they had a powertrain for 3 yrs and for more miles

well the finance manager is one of my friends and I am not happy withthe warranty do they have offered to refund the warranty and we are negioating about me buying parts and them installing for free,

My concern is in 10k more miles am I going to hav another 1500 - 2k bill?

But for the car i did get a smoking price on it before the clutch issue

When I first got my Accord, they tried to sell me on that extended warranty crap and I asked the finance manager if they do in fact cover the clutch.

"Yes", he said. "Certainly."

I went ahead and went over the specifics of the warranty contract and read that the clutch slave and master cylinder is covered. NOT THE ACTUAL CLUTCH DISK in BOLD writing.

i asked him about that, and he said that he was mistaking and apologized.

Those finance managers are such liars !

coquinn so do i have a leg to stand on about them certifying the car and the clutch went out 2 days later, it didnt fade out like a clutch normally does it was leaking hydro fluid when it broke down i thought something had become disconnected

I guesws im worried now i bought a car and within 200 miles it broke down,
how long do u have to return the car? I used to sale motorcycles and they had X amount of miles and days to return it with no questions asked and then they had longer if they got asnother bike, so say i swapped cars or something? im worried about this s2k holding up now

That's what I'm trying to explain, the vehicle could not have been certified. It might have went through a used car check, but the car is too old, and has too many miles to have went through the certification process.

If someone told you the car was indeed certified, they lied.
