Thumbs up NEED HELP PLZ

Hi guys I'm in the market to get a car had a leased car crashed it and now I need a car this one I want to purchase. But don't have much money I want to get a 04 or 05 S2k with under 50K miles I have questions does this car have a lot of problems cause its going to be a daily driver and I drive about 40 to 50 miles a day. If you guys have problems what kind of problems do you guys have a how much do you spend on it. I will be modding the car a little bit exhaust intake and maybe rims and roof and suspension. Should I get the S2k or get a RSX-S?

THANX A LOT GUYS.

Mike hope to hear from you soon thanx again.

A 2004 - 2005 (ap2) dont have any major issues as far as engine/mechanical problems.

expect to pay when it comes to servicing your S2000. expect tires as early as 15,000 miles (depending on how you drive) go to tire rack right now and see how much tires cost.

Expect higher insurance than the rsx.

Please take it slow in the s2000 untill you learn how unforgiving she can be when you get sideways.

if there is bad weather... dont drive or be very careful. keep in mind you can do $5,000 + of damage easy buy hitting a curb hard.

they are very fun to drive, but they also need to be kept up to date on maintance (check oil everytime you gas up)

but overall you will enjoy it more over a rsx.

It's a Honda. They do not have mechanical problems with normal use.
Some people who drag-race the car or have forced induction complain about weak differential housing.

S2k and RSX-s are 2 totally different cars. Test drive both and see which one floats your boat.

A bit off topic, but do you know anything about major problems with 06s/07s?

no major problems with 2006-2009

everything gets better, parts get upgraded and nothing really changes. the newer the car the better it is bult (upgraded parts)

i choose a 2005 because it is the last year before the drive by wire throttle plates. (i hate how it feels)
