Default Need help selecting performance parts from the experts here at S2KI. (long)

Allright- I need help from my peers here in the S2Ki community.

I've searched and read all the threads on the board regarding, exhaust, exhaust sound, intake, headers, forced induciton, suspension, drivetrain and asked as many questions to everyone I saw with these performance parts at our local club meets and Fall Colors 02'. And I've narrowed down my decision- I would really appreciate it if you guys could select from my choices which would be the best application for each tuning area below based on my comments of what I'm looking for. After all, by next summer I'll probably have spent between $8-10K building up my car and I don't want to have any regrets. I love you guys thanks in advance for your assistance in my decision making.

Exhaust- I want a dual setup that's not too loud like the Spoon but I want it to sound more audible than stock without sounding like a Civic.
Choices: Comptech, Mugen, Supersprint or HKS.

Header- I want the header that has the best build and the most power, period.
Choices: Comptech, Mugen, HKS or Spoon Sports

Air Intake- ( for the time I don't have the supercharger installed since the intake that comes with that one will go in at that time) I want an intake that will make the best power without having to worry about water getting into the engine ( even though the AEM is said to do this at times, does it really happen?
Choices: AEM CAI, Ingen CAI or Comptech CAI

Supercharger- I've had a ride in a car with the Comptech but have only read about the Vortech. I basically want the blower kit with the least problems in the long run.
Choices: Comptech, Comptech with aftermarket FMIC or Vortech

Suspension- Coilovers would be nice, but I know from my past cars that they are always very costly. I want something at a decent price which will give me the best appearance over 18" wheels ( 18 x 10 rear ) without rubbing.
Choices: Please suggest a spring/shock combination or a coilover unit which is not overly priced, X-Brace & Front-Upper Strut Bar.

Brakes- I want a big brake upgrade kit with great stopping power with the best value for the money.
Choices: Please suggest a brake kit.

Drivetrain- I want a clutch that will be able to handle the supercharger's power with ease but doesn't make the pedal/engagement feeling to harsh like a drag clutch.
Choices: Please suggest a flywheel, pressure plate and clutch disc.

Final Question- I don't want to blow up my car or have it in the shop so much where the car becomes a financial burden to own. I've read so much about the need to upgrade the "rear-end" if I plan to get a supercharger- exactly what parts make up the rear-end? Forgive me if I sound stupid by asking this but I honestly just don't know and need help.

Thankyou Again- I want to make sure the car comes out OK when I'm all done, so I want to be as thorough as possible!

as most of your responses will be from experience in a particular part, vouching for that part is difficult not to do. however, you can go with the best header, and the best exhaust and the best intake, but its really more along the lines of a harmony or combination of the right parts - which aren't necessarily the best for each. its really difficult to squeeze power out of this car, and I wouldn't tell you A, B, or C, but I'll give you educated answers if that's the kind of vendor you'd want to work with.

power - just get a supercharger: vortech or comptech, heck I carry both, and would recommend either one.

suspension - too many options here, but I wouldn't touch a thing unless you can squeeze out what you need from your modifications. if you race on the track, go to an occassional DE event or autox - then I can make recommendations. otherwise, a full race setup on the street is just plain overkill.

brakes - lots of options, but just the same as the suspension goes - it depends what you are going to do with it, and what you can put up with (dust/squeel/etc.) and what can be worked around. I can help you stop on a dime, but it just depends.

if you have any questions, send me a pm or give me a ring, afterall, this is my full time gig, so this is all I do. =)
