how much are these mods for parts & install, and are these good mods? a 02 s2k i saw had these mods and need to know if they are good or garbage.. garbage meaning will engine break down more, reliability issues, etc etc. he says the mods give extra 50 HP.. lots of strain on the engine then, no?

Air induction and header/exhause may give you a 6 hp gain total... (waste of money!)
I have no clue about the computer but 45 hp from it is a bunch of B.S.

 

FWIW, All those parts can be installed by you.

 

If you are worried about warranty, don't consider the car. The "computer" will probably void the engine warranty. Honda dealers are not known to be forgiving with warranty claims.

There's nothing wrong with the I/H/E, but you shouldn't pay extra for mods, they typically hurt the resale value of the car. The fishy thing is the "computer". Is it just a piggyback VAFC or an actual full blown replacement (which I doubt). In any case, with the best tuning the whole bundle is 10-15 hp.
