I agree, the S is not on fire sale!! That car is worth 17K now and will be worth the same if not a little more next spring.
You guys that think your cars are losing value as you read this and think the sky is falling wouldn't feel that way if you were selling.
I've said this before and I really believe that these cars will hold their value in the years to come if not heavily modified.

This is a great illustration of how there are a bunch of people on S2ki who refuse to recognize the market. No wonder there are so many cars that sit on the buy/sell forum for months. The reasonably priced ones, however, sell quickly.

Damn...I'm modified...

It's not a bad deal..or a good deal...as s2kPa said..there will also be a better deal...if you're happy with it, it shouldn't matter to anyone else.

Hey babowc just think of the smile on your face as your driving your s2000 and the price you paid for the car will all but disappear.

well, look on the bright side. most of your car payments up until this point have been going towards interest. so you probably haven't paid the principle down much, but it probably wasn't TOO much higher than that. your payments will start paying down the principle much more now. also wouldn't hurt to make an extra payment every so often if you can afford it. get it paid off sooner
