Default Spa owners, help me with decision

I am shopping around for my 2nd s2k (sold ap1 and now want to get into an ap2) and I am noticing "better" deals on the spa.
Red and suzuka aren't exactly my cup of tea, so they are ruled out and I've been on the fence about yellow.
So.. I have a few questions.

1. it's a fancy color, probably the fanciest of all, even more than red. How's it day to day? Cops hassling you? Thieves?
2. Any regrets after owning it for awhile? Like do you get tired of the color?
3. Would you pick the same color again?
4. If I am planning on keeping this car for pretty much forever, would you recommend yellow still?

I believe sports cars should be fancy, like lime green, yellow, or orange porsches/lambos, what not, but for s2000... just a little iffy about it

I understand color is a personal choice, but this is a real toughie.. that's why I am asking. =)

Thanks!!

well being an owner of a 2001 spa for 3 years is that you get alot of attention. The pearls in the paint really make the yellow stand out. I do alot of car shows and the yellow always beats the other colors. I get that the yellow really makes the lines of the car stand out. I think the Spa yellow is the nicest yellow around on any other car. the funny story of when i got my car was that i didn't want a yellow car but once i saw it in person i was in love at first site.
Now you said you wanted a AP2, the yellow is not Spa it's Rio yellow. it's a lil darker then the Spa. YES I would deff pick this color again.
The best thing to do is go see one in person on a beautiful sunny day and you will see what i'm talking about. make sure it's clean too.

hmm it's definately not on top of the list but if it comes down to it that i found a good deal on a spa then i'll consider it. but suzuka is the only color i will never buy although i love the interior.

Everyone is different. I'm not a Spa owner but my friend is so I see it all of the time. Personally, yellow is the last color I would want on an S2000, but others love it and if you do then that's what counts.

I'm currently in the market for my second S2000 also, and the two colors I really have been looking into (that is, if I don't go with sebring again) are NFR and Suzuka...like I said everyone is different.

GL.

Well if you are interested in an AP2, you will not be getting a Spa, Rio replaced Spa for the AP2.

Rio is darker, more red than Spa, it is also a much easier color to match as Spa is an unusual 3-step paint process, and a complete PITA to match properly.

I love my Spa, don't get me wrong, but Rio is indeed an awesome color!

Yellow is a fantastic color, over and over I have been behind a caravan of S's, and I swear, somehow the yellow always makes the car look wider and lower.

rio owner checking in. on a day to day basis, cops don't give me any trouble. i am 100% stock though hahah.

when i was shopping for my s2000 i had only one color in mind and that was YELLOOOOOW!!! i do not regret my choice one bit.

the other color that i might want is white. thats only because i can't really pull off white rims on my rio but on a white car... YUM. good luck!

Owned a spa for two years, never pulled over once in it. But then again i don't drive too fast. Rio looks great in person.
