Hi all,
I expect to have about $22,000 - $20,000 to spend on an s2k by the summer. Obviously I am going used ap1 (drove one and loved it btw). First, are there any signifiant differences between the model years that I should be aware of. Second, I know i don't want a car with a lot of miles but i intend to make this a quasi track car eventually and would like to start modding as soon as possible. Would it be wise to maybe get an 02 rather than 03 and save some money for mods. Lastly, considering that this car will eventually become a car that i will regularly track as well as drive on the streets (already have a daily grinder) what are some mods i should start with.
also some other questions.... How much performance gains should i expect from just aftermarket brake lines and pads/should i upgrade rotors and calipers too? What kind of suspension set ups do you guys recommend (mixture of aggresive street/track driving?
I know i wont have the money at first but any advice/parts list would be great.
