Default Neuspeed Exhaust - your EDUCATED opinion

I've received input from several people on different threads about my Neuspeed exhaust (most of them downright nasty) and would like to hear more positive or negative feedback about it if you wouldn't mind. Please only first hand information and take it easy with the trash talking, I'm very sensitive. Thanks everyone.

I had the v3 Neuspeed exhaust - sounded awsome but was heavy and slowed the car down. My car was about .6-.8 seconds faster in the 1/4 with stock exhaust. Faster yet with the Spugen SS Single.

I have V2. I got it for the sound. And it does lose a few pounds off stock but not much. I love the sound and I'm not all that bothered that it doesn't flow as well as other systems. I just hate those "ring-a-ding-ding" exhaust sounds that resemble a fast spinning sewing machine. I have, however, compensated for the lose of power with the Vortech and 4.44's and Toda header. And no, I'm not even worried that I'm not getting the max benefit from those mods because of the Neuspeed.
Some people can be very blunt (I saw that thread you speak of). Pay them no never mind if you like the sound. If it bothers you about the loss of power, then I can't say anything to you to make you feel better. Sometimes, those who obsess over every last HP, can tend to get their feelings hurt the easiest.

I had the exhaust was very pleased with it. I got rid of it, to be honest, b/c I wanted something different i.e. a single outlet and something with a little more roar. I had no issues with the car i.e. a noticeable loss of power. Just my 2cents.

Hey thank you, really. I was expecting some more bashing but I'm pleasantly surprised. I love the sound and the look and didn't really notice any power loss in everyday driving. And I'm still pleased with it to this day. (thanks tenblade2001) I guess I'm neurotic enough to let other people make me second-guess myself. Knowing a little more about other's experiences with it helps to understand what I've gained and what I've lost by using it. Thanks again.
