what's weird about your DBW? if you want to feel torque, go for some gears.

congrats
Yea, i was curious about that too. Are shifts smoother (less dip in RPM's perhaps)?

with the DBW there is definitley something different....at times it feels smoother, and others, it doesnt. sometimes it doesnt feel as responsive as the good ol' cable you can definitley feel that it is electrical. i like it a lot!

I think some of what you are thinking is a DBW difference in responsiveness from your AP1 may actually be the AP2 clutch delay valve. You will feel this on high RPM shifts.

do u have gears? i do.

no one is talking about torque monsters like american trash

he was simply remarking about the difference between ap1 to ap2
i had gears in my 'american trash' mustang and i would assume the same principal applies with any car...trash or not. with the gears put in (2.73 to 3.73) the acceleration was dramatically improved but there was no more torque. the car may have spun wheels more easily but that doesn't equate to torque or even feel of torque.
as a side my 'trash' car never broke down on me in over thirteen years.

I and many other 06/07 owners would love to jump on this but for me, the biggest killers are:

1. Would void the warranty. 8500rpm redline would cause the ECU to log a snapshot that would incriminate you at the dealer should you go in for engine related warranty work.
2. No real gains from 6k onwards.
