Turned out to be the slave cylinder. Many props to you guys on here that called that one. Also many props to my dealer for fixing my car in very little time. Nice to know there is a good S2k forum like there is a good Audi forum. Too bad Audi service sucks. Thanks!

glad it worked out. my friend as a 2001 audi A4 that they kept after the lease end. then they had some serious radiator engine problems. they had to write a letter to audi to get the repairs done. if they hadn't, it would have cost them $6000 in repairs.

crazy!

Honda can be a little hit and miss too, so grab a wrench and do the simple stuff yourself.

What exactly does bleeding the clutch entail? My dealer seems oblivious at this point and they cant get the car till 6:30
...they can't get the car 'til 6:30.
Would that be as in 6:30PM, after the car broke down this morning on your way to work?! Exactly how many hours are we talking about here? And where was it sitting all this time?

Sounds like a good case for "clutch by wire" for the '07 model.

Yeah i can't wait for the Retard Control System. Like there aren't enough bad drivers on the road, lets give them faster cars now.

'06 will be the LAST year. There will be no '07. I mean, ask any salesman.

But, as long as it's "pie in the sky", how 'bout ..........................
-Brake by wire?
-Steer by wire?
-Shift by wire?
Heck, why not just make the thing remote control and nobody has to leave their homes when they drive this car?
