First of all Souljah, there was no criticism, (oh, and no "negativity" either) there was observation. As you mature, you must learn the distinction between those two, as they truly are different.

Second, the manner in which Jason phrased his questions was as though he had just taken a break from talking to his chums at the GAP. My 13 year old daughter uses "dunno" for "I don't know". Nothing wrong with it, so long as she is talking to her 13 year old friends and not to me.

Presentation does matter, like it or not. If one wishes to be taken seriously, one needs to understand the environment in which one operates. Translation: if Jason wants reasonable and meaningful replies to an inquiry in a forum of mostly adult males, don't phrase your questions in "kid" speak and something that vaguely resembles very bad grammar.

I am glad that you will be driving an S200 soon. And especially glad to hear that you will be benefiting from the lessons that go along with paying for it yourself.

Now I will attempt to decipher Jasons text and answer the few questions that I can:

1. anyways im just wondering is the S2000 gonna have any major upgrades within the next year or two like I-Vtec? or more hp, physical changes ? permanent Hardtop?

No such major upgrades have been announced. And what's up with the "?" in between words?

2. and is this the last year i saw somewhere on the board that this car is only gonna be out for 1 generation as in 4 year cycle ?

No one could know this information, as Honda has not made such a statement.

2. then what would honda use for a sports vehicle ?

It is likely that Honda will never be without a sports (sporty) car. And I highly doubt they will hang their "sport" car hat on the Civic SI.

3. and do u guys like the gauge cluster on ur cars like the electronic i dunno if its because im not use to it i think i like the normal gauges ?

Once you get used to it, it works very well and is both functional pleasing.

4. when u remove the top off the S2000 can u see where it holds the top on or is there a nice clean cover that covers the holes fairly well ?i mean like when u put the top on there must be a hole that the connections are made by like from the car to the top can they be nicely hidden when the top is not in use.?

I have no experience with a hardtop.

5. and when i plan to get the s2000 i plan not to take off the top i really dont like convertables ? i think so would it be weird or anything if i left it on?

It would be, like, you know, real weird, dude. You are purchasing a beautiful convertible roadster, and you don't like convertibles? Like, whatever!

6. and one last question do u guys like the Audio controls ? that are near the engine start button ?

I like the audio controls very much and find them convenient. (there are those gaps between the words and question marks again, is this some new writing technique being taught in schools today?)

7. I (mom) plan(s) to downpay 22,000 for my S2000 or maybe a bit more, how much will i probably get it out the door for ? with the factory lip and hardtop option ?

MSRP is around $33,000 plus hardtop is likely going to run around $37,000 out the door.

But ur telling me you couldnt see the questions? Jason, perhaps you are still sleepy, as nobody responded that they couldn't understand your questions. The response was that your presentation stinks.

If you want responsible, serious replies, don't write your questions and punctuation as though you are talking to your 13 year old friends about the latest Backstreet Boys CD.

So you wanted to go to sleep and wake up and have all your questions answered......wouldn't we all!

I mean, well like I guess i like answered your questions ? okay i think ? i dunno i guess ? like i hope ur not like all wierded out by my reply ?

i would like to answer your questions but i wasnt sure what they were as all of the questions were in a long sentence that just keeps getting longer and longer and then i forget what the first question was because there is no end to the original question as it just keeping running on and i started to get very tired of trying to follow what ever it was that you were trying to say and oh by the way Honda has indicated that the S2k could be produced for up to 10 years which would be a typical full model run so I'm sure that by the time you have the money and the education to make shorter sentences that the car will still be in production and I'm sure that by the time you get done reading this you will be as tired as I am of trying to prove a point that when one writes and writes and writes with no break in thoughts by using sentences then it becomes very tiring to read and...

I cannot decide if it angers me, or just surprises me when I hear about kids having an S2000 bought for them by their parents. I am the same age as Jason, but I'm a sophomore at the University of Michigan working my butt off to pull out a computer science degree.

Owning an S2K is a goal of mine that I hope to reach after college. Until then, it wouldn't even be practical to own one. Another thing to consider is the price of insurance. You're a male under the age of 21 with a convertible sports car. You are talking about BIG bucks to keep that thing insured. I can barely afford to pay the insurance on my Integra (which by the way, I blew my entire life savings to buy).

When I ask my mom to buy me an S2000, she laughs..

That is such a good idea..

I saw an NSX driving around campus with a big block 'M' in place of the N. Michigan MSX it says.

School pride can do strange things to people..
