I'm using CompTech's STB and there is about 3/4 of an inch clearance. And it is the thickest billet STB I've seen. The connection pipe of the CAI comes straight out and then then down to the left, so for the first 4 inches or so it is very close to the stock air box's pipe. I would be surprised if you had a problem, I've haven't seen any post on this board describing a problem, even with AEM or Ijun's CAI.

No you must get the Comptech STB. The way the CAI's airbox is designed its the only one that will fit. Sorry your Neuspeed STB will have to go.

The air box is mounted on the front/side of the right schock tower (See Below). The back 1/2 inch of the air box passes underneath the STB. Do you know what other STBs have the same problem ?

I shouldn't run you more than $600.00 total ($350.00 for the intake and $250.00+/- for the STB.) It shouldn't be more than that. You can check with MG Racing in the site sponsor section, and the Group buy/ For sale section for their new Email addy.

Just got it installed yesterday-
Now @ idle I get an intermitted hissing sound.
the dealer that installed it said it always made this sound , but with the stock airbox I just could not hear it. Anyone got any thoughts?

The dealer is correct. As the filter element breaks in you'll notice it get a little louder.

Your good!
