Reinforced Differential Housing (S2000)

Developed to help retain the differential
and ring gear from getting shoved out the
back cover. Housing is sold on exchange basis.
Core charge is $370 and will be added to your order.
If you've already broken yours, this core charge will
not be refundable. Photo shows it with the
ring & pinion and differential already put back in.

Hey Wes...is the "reinforced differential housing" what you have been waiting for? I remember you saying that the diff. housing being the weakest link.

What's a core charge? Is that the price of their product if you send in your stock diff. housing?

I called them when I read that. Turns out the "reinforced differential housing" is just the billet steel bearing caps with longer bolts...exactly what I bought from them 6 months ago. It's just now an official product.

The core charge means that they'll charge you for the new differential housing They'll ship the whole diff housing to you, then you can return the old housing and get the core charge refunded.

Well, no one really knows if the bearing caps will actually prevent the differential housing from cracking. But, for about $200-$300 you can have the differential housing (or complete assembly if you wish) cryogenically frozen to increase the strength tremendously. This is my plan...when I have the money.
