I just received my Black s2k 2days ago. I will be purchasing many of Ricks products (very nice stuff) and have many other plans for the car. I have been driving a 99 accord v6 and now I am in heaven. I still have a civic fo when it rains..........I will be picking all of your brains collectivly in the future. So far all I have done is a viper 800 with remote start, voice and a motion sensor. I work at a Audio performance store as well as being part owner of a performance shop (just started) but we have a itr engine swap into a civic and a turbo charged 01 prelude under our belts as well as suspension and the likes. It's good to be HOME!

Congrats! So with the remote start does that mean you bypassed or hard wired the immobilizer?

The imobilizer is bypassed but not removed. The alarm sends a signal to the unit telling it is OK to start. There is only 1 alarm that is legal to have a remote start on a manual car(compustar) but I am not fond of them. I like Viper. We have devised a safty device so that if the car is in gear it will not start, but like everything else in this world it is not perfect. I however have not had any problems with it. The clutch is bypassed when remote started but you still have to press it to start it normally. We DO NOT sell this out of our store(we do not want to be held liable if anything happened)BUT all of my have it done.
