New Konis available soon
Picked this up off the Evolution mail list. I'm sure we have our own suppliers, but I wanted to credit the guy who posted it there. I also wasn't entirely sure which forum to put it in. It may more properly belong in Under the Hood?

"The S2000 Koni parts are due to be received here also in January... in large quantities. Part numbers are 8041-1278L/RSport front and 8041-1279 Sport rear. Both are externally rebound adjustable twin tube low pressure gas shocks with a List price of $218 each
"List prices are not the sales price. You are generally looking at a sales price of about $135 for shocks that list @ $190. About $150-155 for shocks that list at $218.
"Just an FYI. I know there are folks waiting patiently for them.

finally! i saw the prototype Konis in action at Neuspeed's facility almost a year ago. The S2000 the Koni engineer and Neuspeed's rep drove was from the Honda media pool, and they drove that car with the Konis to the limit. I was actually very impressed how fast they took a 90 degree corner (faster than i would ever dare, that's for sure).

The Comptechs will probably fit. I used to own a Civic, with Neuspeed race springs. I then purchased the Koni adjustable shocks, and the Neuspeeds fit fine. Then I later got the Skunkworks adjustable springs, and they fit fine on the Konis. Although its not the same car, I'm sure Koni makes their shocks to accept factory springs, which all aftermarket springs/adj springs are made after.
