I experience the notchiness....with like a crunch noise if I shift fast from first to second. Makes me crinch when I hear it. The double shift method works and problem goes away when the car is warmed up. Oh yah, I have a 04 with 600 miles.

Thatz what i thought - you guys have no clue either! The mesquite does add a pleasant, smokey BBQ aroma to our grinding shifts, though.

I have that problem too but I just ignore it. Its normal like most people say. If it becomes more severe just have it checked at Honda. Sorry I couldn't help much but if it makes you feel better I have the problem too like I said.

I hear that they are carbonated and the gas adds a pneumatic boost to the gear engagement! Maybe it could even be routed to the intake valves to simulate NOS!
