Hello all. Just picked up a year 2000 s2k - silverstone metallic with 20k miles on it. In very good condition. I fell in love with the s2k when I test drove a friends car and had to have it. I already need an advice. I seem to have a good idea on how to debadge the thing ( previous owner put a red "R" emblem on the back instead of a stock "H") but the dealer has painted his ad on the back window ( !!!!! ). How would I remove it? I tryed scratching it off, it's working but I also scratching the plastic window - it's flimsy as it is. Use isopropyl alcohol maybe? Thanks for any further advice.

Welcome to our community. Enjoy the car.

You might want to try posting the question in the Wash and Wax forum. The people over there are great at knowing about these kind of things. I'm sure you'll get an answer and good advice.

Hi Russky and welcome to the forum where you will be no doubt entertained by us characters. As far as the rear window goes, I'd bring the car back to the dealer and ask him to remove it...and assume the liability for doing do. -Ken
