The stock ride quality shouldn't be as bad as you describe.

Are your soft top latches rattling? The sound and feel of the top rattling against the windshield header makes a huge difference in perception of ride quality.

You may also need an alignment or some other suspension work.

True they're not forged billets and machined. OEM wheels are made by Einke and are flow formed, a form of cold forging.

Are you sure? I think they're just straight up cast wheels.

Enkei does not roll form all their wheels.

they re cast and by far not the lightest ones

jdm s2k are forged but are also far from lightest available

as far as i know the cp-035 and te37 are the lightest in most sizes but i dont know how heavy the barrel is on each one because the overall wheel weight is not as important as barrel and tire weight

I just purchased a 2006 S2000 2 weeks ago. I think the ride isn' that bad. However I just came out of a luxury vehicle with an active dampening suspension, and boy I do miss the ride. It was smooth when cruising, and it tightened up when I pushed the car.

Tein makes an active dampening system for their coilovers (EDFC Active Pro). I've used their coilovers, but have no experience with their active dampening system.
