Default new race track in central PA

Hey everyone. Check out this page:

www.rauschcreekracing.com

I have followed rausch creek racing for awhile now, and they are about to really open up. It is a great sounding facility, but I haven't seen it in person yet. It is 40 miles north of Harrisburg. They advertise pretty good rates, especially for clubs. Perhaps interested members from here could form one...

Let's not exclude non-S2000 owners. I'd like to track my WRX. I know the porsche clubs in the area get track time at other places and open it to non-porsche-owning club members.

Any feedback?

Mike

Are there really no guardrail? And are the trees that close? How about elevation changes?

Now the most important question - will they allow S2000's with stock roll hoops?

I'm on their mailing list and....

Not to get your hopes up but construction has been delayed quite a bit and it's my understanding that it won't be ready until late spring at the earliest. If you read that press release it states that a feasability study was completed...not the track.

BTW--the track was supposed to be up and running last March.

ya, it was supposed to be spring '01 now spring '02..... i was hoping they would open someday.....

the One lap of america was supposed to run there, but have now switched to Summit Point, so obviously they are not trusting the rausch creek guys.

I do think the motocross track is open up there.....

Scot - 40 miles from rauschcreek.

This will be great -- if it ever gets finished -- for those of us down here in Maryland. I'd be in for an event.
