Default New Red Interior VS Old Red Interior?

Seeing how many replies made about the differences between these 2 significant cabin color changes, I'm quite curious to find out ... How many prefer the old one like I do and how many will go for the new one instead? More than certainly ... The other topic has generated quite enough responses to support both sides of choices. Poll away, folks!

obviously the 00-01 red is going to win this poll, there is more owners of 00-01 then there are 02.
of course 02 owners are going to pick 02..

I don't think it's because of the number of owners that determine the choice ... For example, I like the new door tweeders on the 02 model while most certainly I believe I'm not the only one in this case as well. So, this is really a personal choice question at the end of the day.

I have an '02 and I can tell you that I definitely prefer the pre '02 red interior color scheme. Oh, by the way, what '99?

In and of itself, I think the Red/Black combo looks better, but the all red interior is, in my opinion, closer to the classic sportscar red interior (see the Porsche 550 Spyder, Ferarri, etc..), which is why I chose it for my S2000. I'm glad the new interior came out when I was ready to buy.

Granted, I didn't think this way right away. It took a drive on a sunny day with the top down to fully convince me.

I want to buy a White S2000 some day, but with the new red interior for 2002, it's time to pick another color. I am not a big fan of red interiors in the first place, but I could of lived with the old.

The all red interior would have been better IMHO if the dash had not been red. Everything else being red is OK but looking out over all that red, no way!

I thought about that, but somehow a black dash with red interior and silver exterior would look weird. If you're going to do it all red, it pretty much has to be ALL red. If you look at the Porsche 550 Spyder, you see that the dash is just a continuation of the body, so a silver dash and red interior works. See this thread

On the S2000, what are your options? Red, I guess...

I voted for the obvious. . .'00 & '01. . .

I was shocked to see that 7 people chose the '02 red interior. . .well, to each his own!
