So I went and test drove the 02 sun yellow and loved it! found one for 24999 and it only had 15k miles on it. And the best part, the clip on the rag top was broken so they are getting me..... A BRAND NEW TOP!!!!! Shit, a 2600 dollar item for free! under my 7yr powertrain certified warranty! omg, this is the best deal ever, got the car basically uner blue book value, and a new rag top!!!!! Well i will be looking forward to S2k meets good to meet you guys and thanks for all your knowledge and help!!!!!

Congrats on the new purchase.

I went to drive an 04 at the dealer last week, just to compare it to my 02 to see what all this talk was about with the extra torque and I did not notice a difference. Although you have to take into consideration the 02 has an engine that is broken in, compared to the 04.

They did some funky stuff to the interior styling and the front face of the 04's too.

Honestly, I think Honda has run out of ways to IMPROVE the car, so they are simply changing it to make it look fresh. Not improving it, just CHANGING it.

My 02 has about the same mileage as the one you bought. It's always good to know what the car is selling for used.

May I ask what state you live in?

'03 hands down. Look for low mileage, play up the fact that the '04 is a better car(not really) and you're not sure if you should go '03 or '04 to the seller. You'll get the best year s2k made at bargain basement prices!

This is what I did....and I couldn't be happier.

yes its my first rear wheel drive, its a lil different im not really used to it. Its funny, its like i know the car is going fast, but i dont feel it going fast. its like magic. Never got so many stares in my life, and im notta ugly dood eitha, but chicks really do dig yellow cars lol. After 4 days of driving it, I have found that I have more fun cruzin than speeding. I dont even wanna speed in this car. Maybe quick launches at the light , but other than that I love jus chillin. With this car, u dont have to ball out to prove a point. Point is made soon as they look at you. Hands down to Honda for putting together such a perfect piece of machinery

If you're worried about what can go wrong, etc... Just buy a new one. If you can find a new '03, you'll get a deal for sure. If you buy a used one, you can run into replacing tires sooner rather than later, the top could be worn, and you'll never know if it had paint work, damage...
