S2k room
So i have a 2000 civic si and was thinking about trading for a s2k, now i love evrything about the car but im wondering how does the fact that its a 2 seater effect daily driving?
Im just worried in 6 months im going to hate the car because of the lack of a rear seat.....
How do you guys feel about this?

Doesn't bother me as I have another car to drive if I need more room. I might feel differently if I had to drive only an S2000 all the time. Guess that's what friends with vans or trucks are for!!
Buy it anyways and enjoy!! Everyone here seems to.

Yes, the S2K is all about planning. You must pack lighter and carry less people, but realistically who needs lots of people and stuff when you are having so much fun with your car.
I might suggest renting a car when you really need the extra room if you don't have another option (second car, friends car, etc.)
The bottom line is that this car is a "love it or leave it" machine, very little compromise (IMO).
Go for it!

I traded my 00 Si for the S2k and haven't regretted it for a minute. Since my Si was lowered, had 17's with nice thin tires, the ride wasn't much different.
Admittedly, there are far fewer places to stuff all you junk in but it's a tradeoff for sheer driving fun.

I traded my 99 civic si last summer for the S2000. This is the "funnest" car I've ever owned (possibly the coolest-tho I drove a 72' mint cond. Caddy coupe in college-not quite as fun but cool
. On the rare occasion that I need to lug something around, I borrow a vehicle (car or truck). The only downside I see is daily winter driving, but with snows, it wasn't TOO bad.
The Si had a very favorable resell/trade market here in the northeast. After 2 years of driving it, I recovered all but $2000 of the note. Less than $85/mo to drive the new si for 2 years was not bad. Wish I could say the same for this car.
