Your friend had either a crappy tune or he drove the piss out of it everywhere. I will actually get worse mileage with the s2k than with the wrx.

My wrx gets around 30mpg on the highway. I usually average around 23mpg for a tank. That is the benefit of being able to tune idle and cruise a little leaner than how it comes from the factory.

I'm not worried about finding one. From the looking it doesn't seem to hard for me to find what I'm looking for. Now selling my car is another story. It is proving to be a little tough. I'm just trying to avoid parting out but if I can't sell it by the end of the year that is probably what I will end up doing.

I get 26-27 mpg commuting to work in my S2K. Granted that assumes that I stay out of VTEC and keep the throttle at 50% when accelerating...which is hard to do.
