Not even then. Remember, Honda has released pictures and even TWO concept cars and said they all were going to be the next NSX. Now Honda said it is going back to the drawing board.

Maybe not in V8 config but a 2.4L high reving engine might be the formula. Currently the Honda F1 engines are 2.4L V8s reving to 19,000rpm+

Take some of the design, tune it down to 9000rpm = winner.
