WOW I would say thats right about the latches doing this. A hard top to expensive. Thansk Mike Any recommendations on what replacement top to buy and materal? Thanks again..mike

 

Buy the more expensive "stayfast". I assume by the sound of it, it won't fade as easily as the standard top. It may or may not be better and longer lasting but I'd take the chance and spend a little more and get what might be the better top.
