new or used?
Guys.....i need some advice from all you experts out there
A dealer offer me $32k for used 2000 s2000 with 6000 mi. and 7 yrs warranty....not include fees and tax
Is it a good deal?
The thing is...the car is white and i like it....and I don't think they are going to import any more white this year...I don't wanna to wait till next yr to get it.
But on the other hand i don't like the idea of paying 32k for a used car.....you just don't have the thrill of getting a brand new car...the smell...the excitement...
so should i wait or just take it?
kickass

It is not a good deal. The MSRP for the brand new car and warranty is about $34,000. You can find the warranty discounted. You can find the car for MSRP or a bit lower if you are lucky.
Are there more options on the car? Alarm, spoiler? Hardtop? Do you want those options if any?
If there are no more items of value in the deal, offer the dealer $29,000 or shop around.
That's my one cent (all thoughts between midnight and six am half price--'cause that is probably more than they are worth).

My dealer has two used on the lot. 2001 Yellow and 2000 Red. Wants 36k for the yellow (<1k miles). Didn't inquire about the red. Claims in order to buy them at auction, they have to bid the price up to over sticker for the current model, although they sell new at msrp. Go figure.
