New windscreen design solves problems
You know, I suggested a very similar approach to Mingster not 6 weeks ago.
The message is probably gone from H-A net for good now. But I basically asked why he didn't just sell a larger replacement screen for the Honda mount.
His reply was something about the Honda part being glued together and not easily disassembled.
Guess a little glue doesn't get in the way of a determined Rick Hesel

To Rick: I guess you missed my point. When you go visit your demo S2000 put the aero screen at a 45 degree so its pointing right at the rear window!(secret compartment locked) Then measure the distance to the window -1/2 inch and take that number. Apply that to the height you were gonna make it and let me know what the difference is.
This way you could have the piece flip back and stay out of the way of us and keep its stock movement(no rubber stoppers)
Do you understand now? Or must I take a wet noodle and hit you with it.
I e-mailed Mingster about 3 weeks ago suggesting he come up with a design based on the factory aeroscreen fixture, rather than expect owners to replace their current one with his ungainly design. Well, I never received a reply, so now I'm thrilled to find that Rick has put his talents to work for us again.
One suggestion to Rick......have you considered getting the Lexan screen laser marked by a (laser marking) job shop, instead of using the etching method? This would allow any design to be marked, in a matter of seconds, for any piece. All you need to provide is a BMP, WMF, DWG (and many other format) files of the logo design you want marked.

I have a question. I suspect one of the reasons Honda has the aeroscreen fold backwards is so you can fold it back when you actually want the wind blowing inside the car, or when the top is up. It sounds to me like with this aeroscreen you'd have to have it up all of the time or else when it was folded forward it would be a nuisance in the cabin. So what I'm wondering is, if I were to purchase Rick's aeroscreen would I have to keep it in place pretty much all the time? Thoughts people?
