Never owned a S2000 before- Should you drive a certain way while breaking it in or is that necessary? Will drive fairly hard, after broken in. I don't like the front license plate. Are there inserts that you can put in the bumper to fill the four holes?

Welcome aboard.

Please post your question in the subject line.

The owner's manual details how Honda recommends breaking in the car. If you do a search of this forum, many people have various opinions on the "right way" to break in your car.

Your car should have come with front bumper plug inserts. If not, they're only a couple dollars apiece.

I personally kept the engine below 6k for the 1st 600 miles after that I raised the RPM limit I would reach by a 1000 for every 100 miles I drove until 1000 miles on the odo.At that point was the 1st time I went to redline.

1st oil change came at 3000;I went full synthetic @ 5000 miles. I now have just shy of 15,000 miles and have had zero issues;except the rear tires are bald
