I wouldnt recommend it until after about 10 to 15000 miles. I also heard that synthetic oil burns more. I thought it was made so its harder to break down and burn?

i believe i have almost 800 miles now, and since it is up on jackstands for the winter i thought i would change it. (mobile 1 is my choice as well). i can't imagine why not since it is SAE rated.

Revhi, i believe you are right about being concerned with break-in miles, since the stuff is so slippery that propper break-in could be affected. however, Honda said that after 600 miles you can go ahead and wind it up. sound right?

Yes, you can go ahead and wind it up after 600 miles, but a glance at your owners manual would tell you that synthetic is not recommended before 10,000 miles.
