Default Newbie here help plz...

I just got a 05 s2k 2 weeks ago and my floor seems to get hot if i drive alot... is this normal???

Yes, this is a rear wheel drive car. You exhaust runs underthere too...

My car started to smell like burning plastic. Normally this isn't too much of a problem in a really new car, but mine has 26,000 miles on it.

I found some plastic "Caution" tape stuck to the exhaust pipes just before it goes into the mufflers. It's stuck on there pretty good and stinks up a storm when the car is hot.

Turn off the floorheaters the switch is in the trunk under the spare.

I think you must be talking about the heat from the transmission....
IF you wear a pair of shorts, you can feel the heat .. also.. heat near handbrake..

Yeah, that's true. I do notice that the cupholder cubby gets really warm after driving. I guess that's good for warm drinks?
