Default NEX Coilovers (Good or Bad?)

hey guys. i came across these on ebay. i currently have espelier lowering springs on my car, but was looking into a cheaper set of coilovers like tein's. however, as i was browsing on the shady world of ebay, i found these:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEX-Coilove...1QQcmdZViewItem

i have emailed the guy several times and asked about adjustments, etc. he has been helpful, and even offered a 5% discount for shits-n-giggles.

though i figure you get what you pay for, and these aren't the best coilovers, would they be better than my lowering springs on stock shocks? as far as handling goes? apparently the guy said they were adjustable from 1/1.5 to 3.0".

he also mentioned they were adjustable throw a threaded collar? i always thought, although dont have any experience, coilovers were adjustable through a so-called knob that was turned? thanks for your help in advance, dustin.

Suspensions are probably the most important part of the car. Do not match them up with cheap stuff, do it right the first time! you will be happier in the long run But i know a few people who run megans and loves them. If you wait around and shop around, you can find very nice used coilovers for great prices! i've seen used pss9, t1r, JIC for under 1g. Good Luck! Oh yeah, and you can also consider some koni yellows with your espelir springs, i heard its a great combo.
