I couldn't care either way because I don't intend to buy another S2000. I love the one I got, but I intend to drive it till it dies. At that point, if I want another sports car, it will either be something meaningful like a Porsche, or it will be something cheap that I can rag on with no remorse, like a Miata.

But, the one thing that I would've liked to have had had from the S2000 is a coupe version.

As far as a next gen. S2000 goes I would hope they would keep it close to the original but I would like to see more HP/torque. I will let everyone else argue over how to do that. And keep the high rpms.

What I hope to see some time soon is a new prelude with rwd and a 300 Hp engine with a 8-9000rpm redline sort of cross between the old prelude and the S2000.

n/a inline six making around 300 hp(realistic). a flat torque-curve would be nice.
