I don't think going from silverstone to moonrock is enough of a difference to warrant the expense. But that's just my opinion.
starting to agree with you Dan..... I don't think Moonrock is that drastic of change over Silverstone.

Yes, for the first stop. The S's brakes fade while the Boxster's don't.

Do you have documented proof for this? While I admit that it's easy to get the S2000 brakes to overheat (even on street tires) during a track session (it takes me about 10-15 minutes to do it)... this is a factor of the pads & not the rotors. A BBK isn't going to get you much. If you need to address overheating, you only need to upgrade the fluid & pads.

what suspension do you have?

BBK is a good idea.

Staying away from boost?

Seats are always nice, but the OEM seats are pretty damn nice to begin with.

if, I were to repaint, I would go with a very dark silver/gray. Much like the IS dark silver or whatever it is.

What about audio?

I have Wesmaster's old set up and its good enough. I don't auto-x enough to justify coilovers and I don't like boost (great and fun but I've personally known a couple of people that it gave them nothing but headaches...turbo would be my preferance but no good place to tune and still too unreliable IMO).
Not really interested in audio....dead weight.

No, just substantial track time in both an S2000 and a Boxster (and Boxster S), all bone stock. No documentation whatsoever, but I know what brake fade feels like.
I didn't say the S's brakes couldn't be improved; in fact that was the point of my post, is that they can be improved. Pretty easily as has been pointed out.

No need to get defensive lads, just making an observation.

Once again, my point was: Stock for stock the S's brakes fade and the Boxster's don't, even after all day on the track.

And yes, I would rather have my S than a Boxster. I prefer the handling, the shifter, the looks...etc.

Sorry I insulted your beloved car mxt
