I think that we have a problem with the 11/12 date for the next SoCal Meet though. Two of the Eriks have indicated that this conflicts with ComDex, which runs 11/13-17. This of course, means that it probably also conflicts with the folowing weekend 11/17-18.
The weekend after that is Thanksgiving, and then that puts us into December and holiday parties.
I've got an autocross on 12/2, autocross school on 12/17, so for me, that leaves only 12/3, 12/9, 12/10 or 12/16 open. I'm guessing that people are going to have holiday conflicts.
What does everybody else think? Should we change the date? I also haven't gotten any volunteers to actually plan the route!

Really wish I could be there for the Nov Meet, but just too far, wrong time of the year...
I you are mulling over ideas where to go, etc, for the meet, consider a loop up to Simi Valley, lunch at Chuy's (right near Moorpark College). Also, there is a twisty little highway from Thousand Oaks to the ocean (Hwy #20, I'm not sure?) that would be a lot of fun...
How about a meet at Spring Break (Mid March of 2001 in So Cal?) I would be there.

Hey Tom,
I've been talking to wanabe and we've been thinking about places to set up a get together. It would be great if we tried the west la/south bay area. There seem to be a lot of S2K's in the general area.

Hey Tom, I've got a cool Arrowhead/Big Bear drive for ya. It's awesome and pretty simple, kinda like our ACH drive. I'll let you know if the date is cool.

As I mentioned before, the 11/12 date has been questioned by people who are planning to attend Comdex, which also makes the 11/18 or 11/19 date no good as well.
So I need to see an expression of interest for the following dates: 11/12, 11/18, 11/19, 12/9, 12/10 or 12/16. Most votes sets the date. I may resend the Evite and let everyone vote there.
Bear in mind that with a Big Bear/Lake Arrowhead drive, it could be snowing in December!

My vote is for sometime in November. You and I talked about the Arrowhead route last weekend and I think it would be a great drive. I could do the 11/12 or 18/19 weekends.
